Bethesda nets Fontana for Star Trek PSP script
Bethesda Softworks looks to have recruited some pretty serious script writing help for their upcoming PSP Star Trek title Star Trek: Tactical Assault. This game, along with Star Trek: Legacy for other platforms, will be based on a script penned by Star Trek franchise writer Dorothy “D.C.” Fontana and her partner Derek Chester. Fontana is known for having written countless scripts across the franchise from the original series to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
In Star Trek: Tactical Assault, players engage in real-time spaceship combat set in the original Star Trek universe. There will be a wide array of races, ships and weaponry available for single player battle in the Federation or Klingon campaigns as well as head-to-head wireless multiplayer compact. Star Trek: Tactical Assault is being developed by Quicksilver Software, creators of Star Trek: Starfleet Command.
