America Gets Disappointing PSP Go Game Bundle

In Europe, customers who purchase a PSP Go during its first month on sale will get a free digital copy of Gran Turismo. Earlier, we speculated that Sony might do the same thing for customers in North America, perhaps by offering a free copy of Jak & Daxter to early adopters. It turns out that Sony will offer a downloadable bonus with PSP Go hardware, but it is nowhere near as good as the deal they are getting in Europe.

Here, Sony and MTV will offer customers a free download of the Rockband Unplugged single player demo. This demo will only come with 5 songs, but is compatible with future downloadable content, so users can pay to increase the number of tracks if they wish.

We doubt that very many readers were dying to try out Rockband Unplugged, which has been on sale for several months now. If they had, they would have already bought the game. Still, if it allows Sony to keep the final cost down, we would gladly have a cheaper PSP Go than a bundled game. After all, due to the difference in exchange rate, most Europeans will be paying more than $300 USD for their PSP Go machines, free game or not.

I've been a playstation fan since the original playstation. I've been with them when the PS2 came out and the first PSP and the PS3 . When I first heard bout the new PSP GO back like a year ago I knew then I was getting one. And after all this time I have never been disappointed with Sony until now. How are you just gonna give Europe and PAL countries a free copy of GT. Yes I know with the money exchange differences their paying more over there but don't get me wrong we here in the U.S. is paying a pretty penny too. I think they should do the same free download here in the states for the dedicated Playstation fans that true to them and pre-ordered also. Cause frankly the Rock Band download and it's a demo, come on that's a slap to the face. It's down right disrespectful if you ask me. Plus Rock Band blows if you played one you've played them all, also how much fun could it really be on a portable device hell I don't even like it on the console. It's not challenging at all. I'd get more of a challenge playing Simon if I wanted to sit around and press colored buttons. Now GT would be a way more challenging game and a good way for Sony to say thanks for be true to our company and spending your money with us in these time in the world today. But no they treat us like we're nothing and give us a game, hold my bad a demo that's worth nothing more than what I drop in my toilet when in sitting on it.
