Ad-hoc PS Vita and PSP Game Connection Confirmed

It has been confirmed via the PS Vita Japan site that the PlayStation Vita will be compatible with its predecessor, PlayStation Portable, via ad-hoc connection. However, PSP titles will still have to be bought and downloaded from the PlayStation Store onto the PS Vita.

Lord of Apocalypse, to be released on both the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable, will be compatible with ad-hoc on both versions of the game.

The downside: this will not be the case with every title. While Eurogamer states that it will work with "the majority" of games, a list of compatible titles has yet to be released.
