Uncharted Golden Abyss, The Killer Game For PS Vita

The Uncharted franchise was first introduced on the Sony PlayStation 3, and was a huge hit when gamers had the chance to step into the world of Nathan Drake thanks to some tremendous work from developer Naughty Dog.

Uncharted is ready go to portable now with a huge release on the PS Vita when the portable gaming console launches in 2012.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss is being developed by Sony Bend Studio, and will be the portable system debut of this blockbuster franchise.

This comes off of the release of the wildly successful Uncharted 3 on the Sony PlayStation 3 this fall.

Nathan Drake will be at it again on the PS Vita as he will embark on an adventure that goes back over 400-years, and involves history, deception, and a whole lot of high-octane action.

Early previews of Uncharted: Golden Abyss have looked absolutely fantastic. It is clear that the developer Sony Bend Studio is putting their best foot forward to really create the killer app on the PS Vita at launch.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss on the PS Vita is showcasing some tremendous visual detail for a handheld, and will utilize every aspect of the new Sony handheld's hardware.

The hardware of the PS Vita is going to allow the developer to really engross gamers in the action. The dual analog sticks, as well as the multi-touch screen are going to add elements to the game never before seen for the franchise.

Preview builds have revealed that the developer is serious about putting these features to use in a way that is going to vastly improve the Uncharted experience, rather than simply trying to tack them on as gimmicks to lure in gamers.

The Sony PS Vita is being touted as the de facto handheld for hardcore gamers when it releases in 2012, and Uncharted: Golden Abyss, as of right now, seems like the flagship title to truly showcase the handheld to the world.
