Tidus and Jecht Confirmed for Dissidia, New Detailed Scans Inside

While scouring the Interwebs today we came across some juicy new details about Final Fantasy: Dissidia, the upcoming action-brawler from Square Enix. According to the Japanese gaming press, develoment of the hotly-anticipated PSP title is currently at about 50%. The wait will be worth it for Final Fantasy fans, however, because Square Enix also revealed that we can expect to see about 100 unique playable characters in the final version of the game.

We already know about 20 of the personalities that will make an appearance in the game, and this week two more were added to the list. A recent article in Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has confirmed that Tidus and his father Jecht from Final Fantasy X will be included as playable combatants.
