Tantalizing Agito XIII Artwork and Details

The CLOUD Message book contains some very exciting information about the three upcoming Final Fantasy XIII projects from Square Enix. Agito XIII is a spinoff planned for the PSP that uses some of the same gameplay engine from Crisis Core. Naturally, we are very curious to know more about this mysterious game that was only recently announced as a PSP exclusive. Scans from the book show workspaces from the design teams working on the game. Details from an overhead world map as well as several interesting images pasted around the edges of the map.

What we can gather so far is that Chocobos will be featured in Agito XIII and they look a lot like their counterparts from Final Fantasy X.

Careful viewers will also notice a drawing of the walking mechas that were featured in Final Fantasy VI.

Most mysterious of all are some strange symbols that look like Hieroglyphs in the bottom-right of the picture.
