S.W.A.T Targets The PSP

Welcome to the Special Weapons and Tactics unit better known as S.W.A.T. Some of you might remember S.W.A.T on the PC as a first person shooter. Now with a new action third person style it will be a nice edition for the handheld. This is not a mission for the weak so if your interest is still peeked read on for more tactical information!
As an S.W.A.T operative it starts off normal but of course you discover later a big plot unfolds something more in-depth. Modes of play consist of hostage rescue and high risk warrant services which are self explanatory. The game is taking place in New York City so be ready for a lot of familiar sites from Central Park to Empire State building. I for one approve of using city environments for tactical games because you put your skills to the test dealing with busy crowds and ground to travel around in buildings. For example holding down a hostage situation in an office building would be pretty difficult with different rooms and not knowing who is a sleeper. That, my friend, is always great when there is an element of surprise.
How about we get down to some dirty ad hoc multiplayer baby! There is added for player action with different multiplayer modes. Come on folks, a game like this would have awesome PVSP game action. Can't go too deep into the modes, but there is an interview with one of the creators below. Check it out. Trailer provided by Gametrailers.com
Now this is something I do miss about video games which is being a hero. Yea it is fun being a badass anti hero but being a good old hero is always good. Strategy makes a game more interesting especially when they add great action with tactics. Check the game play video for a better look. This game will hit stores later this fall. Your boy Quan stay frosty gamers!
