Sony Expands Greatest Hits, Adds Favorites PSP Lineup

Sony Computer today announced it will create a new line of budget-riced games and expand its current offering of Greatest Hits titles on the PSP. Starting on June 1, a new PSP "Favorites" software line, which offers existing PSP titles for $9.99, will make its debut. Furthermore, the PSP system's "Greatest Hits" library will grow to more than 60 titles with four newly added games.

At $9.99 (MSRP), the new PSP "Favorites" software line offers some of the oldest games for the PSP system at a low price. The PSP Favorites lineup feature a wide variety of genres from family-friendly gaming to first-person shooters. The list of game titles included in the PSP Favorites line are:

Sony says that games in its Greatest Hits lineup have reached a threshold of sales than indicate their lasting popularity. On the PSP, these games come in specially marked packaging and retail for $19.99. The newest additions to the PSP system's Greatest Hits library include:
