SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3 First Details

The next follow-up title in the popular SOCOM series has been announced for PSP, and we have some juicy new details. SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3 marks the return of the wildly successful Fireteam Bravo series to Sony's PSP handheld system. Created with the support of the U.S. Naval Special Warfare Command, SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs: Fireteam Bravo 3 will be exclusively available for the PSP system this fall (2009).

Continuing to build on the legacy of the critically-acclaimed Fireteam Bravo series, SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3 has players lead a 4-man fireteam of U.S. Navy SEALs in an action-packed military hunt for weapons of mass destruction and an ex-KGB agent. Not only as the SEAL Commander will you be supported by 3 AI teammates executing the very latest SOCOM team-based tactical, stealth and action maneuvers, but you can easily bring your friends online by playing in a new 4-player co-op mode throughout the single player campaign in both Ad Hoc and Infrastructure, a first on the PSP.

Storyline:

Alexander Gozorov is a man that does not want to be found, an ex-KGB agent with ties to the Russian mafia, he has killed everyone we have sent to find him. Gozorov is believed to have information on a major imminent attack against western interests. Time is running out and your 4-man team of U.S Navy SEALs is sent in to track him down.

Console-like control scheme with intelligent use of cover.

Strong contemporary narrative supported by cutting edge presentation.

Cooperative play in Ad Hoc and Infrastructure modes allows for 2-4 player co-ops which include co-op orders, quick join and spectator system.

Competitive multiplayer for 2-16 players via Ad Hoc and Infrastructure modes.

Unlock gear and weapons, earn medals and ribbons as you complete objectives, either offline or by teaming up on-line.

Communicate with teammates via voice chat.

I just bought SOCOM Tactical Strike yesterday and I was pretty impressed. The graphics are really nice. AI is pretty stupid so far but that's only the first mission, IDK about the rest yet. Camera sucks but it isn't a huge problem. Really fun and a bunch of reviews claim that online multiplayer lags like a turtle (Liars!) but if that's what they call lag, then i can't wait to see how Fireteam Bravo 3 performs. 16 players! Pre-ordering!

I cannot wait for Socom 3 to come out. I played 2 and very impressed with the quality + graphics.

I'm already bored with SOCOM: Tactical Strike. It's just not a pick up and play type of game. So I bought that new Guilty Gear. XX2 PLus I think. So Ill let you know how that turns out.

Im a huge fan for ftb2 and cant wait for the next one but a lot of my online buddy would like bigger online map and vehicles like tanks or cars with guns on then like the socom game combined assault. if it had that i would call it the beast game ever on the psp. thank you for reading the comment if you would at lest put that a an add-on or come to me for more grate ideas for the socom ftb i have a lot and i can ask the comsumer what they would like on it also. call me for good ideas 815-828-5247

i am a huge fan of socom been with the series since its first game and i have to say wow ftb3 must rock cause socom only keeps getting bttr cough cough [confratation] besides some... and socom offline is nothing like it is online 4yr vet here
