Samurai Warriors: State of War lets players engage in classic Japanese warfare as they make use of 19 fighters from previous Samurai Warriors titles. Players battle through strategy and action modes as they progress through the game’s storyline across 37 stages and 22 maps created for the PSP. Hidden items found throughout the maps can boost abilities as can a battle based character development system. Two different ad-hoc wireless multiplayer modes are also available for up to four players. Expanded biographies of real samurai are available as an additional feature.
