Crash has returned once again and this time he has a new look with a whole bunch of new skills. Crash of the Titans hits all platforms, but we are PSPworld and that's what we'll be covering my gaming comrades. Since 1996 crash bandicoot collided on the PS1 made by naughty dog that brought out some other games, but this time Sierra and Vivendi Universal Games came out with something interesting. So sit tight, grab a mango and get ready to beat down cortex in this latest review.

The crash bandicoot world has been much different than other platform games, with its quirky characters and colorful environments. Crash did bring something new from the old competition between Sonic and Mario. So lets get down to business here and start off with a nice beach area with you as Crash sitting with friends while staring into space. Soon as you see Crash scratch his head, here come the bad guys to ruin the fun. That’s right your old enemy Neo Cortex and new comer his niece Nina Cortex, do a surprise attack taking Aku Aku and your Sister Coco hostage. So of course being the hero you must save the day.

All right enough of the story; we shall tap into the controls and objectives. I already explained what the main objective was basically saving your friends. However the hidden agenda is the bad guys are turning creatures into these titanic monsters, which of course are trashing the world. Now controls are pretty much the same but a nice twist. If you remember crashes spin attack? Well now that is replaced with a punch button that is upgraded as you on through the game. It goes into a sequence of combos which eventually leads to kicks as well. When you do confront a titan, you can power up a double kick by pressing triangle which would put the Titan in a daze. Right than you press the circle button to hijack the titan and ride it as your own weapon.

Sounds fun all ready doesn't it? You also get your classic double jump move with an added helicopter move that slows your fall. That is when you’re trying to aim your jump, but it is also an attack move that is very affective. You also get a nice shield move which you manifest an Aku Aku mask which is a new feature for the series. While in previous bandicoot games you had too collect fruit and diamonds, however this time it is mojo and these voodoo dolls. They added the side missions a long the way of your travels where they have certain objectives so you can obtain the voodoo dolls.

We are now going into the graphics, which is pretty solid for a handheld game. Every thing blends well as if you were playing on the PS2 console. It seems that they are doing graphics justice for the handheld system, I mean the world is huge in the game and there are no skips or bad rendering. Crash looks great by the way with his new evolved look. He looks less goofy and more grunge. He has strips now on his body and seems to be much shorter than the other games. There is also a multiplayer feature where you play as a clone crash to have doubled the crash action. You can even pick up mojo or jack the other crash and vice versa for funny hi-jacking incidents via ad hoc of course.

Now we go into the moment that everyone loves. The bad parts of the game! I am sorry folks there are hardly any flaws that I can see in the game. It has all the aspects of an action plat-former with your goofy action hero. I guess additions to the game would be better said than what’s wrong with it. The funny commentary of the characters is hilarious and for a handheld it is a long game that will keep you occupied. So there are no real flaws to speak of.

Let us now summarize all features and the game modes. You have your ever loving Bandicoot with all of his enemies through the years. A mission based on you rescuing your friends and stopping the bad guys from taking over the world. Multi-player is added to keep you and your friend occupied trough the story mode. Commentary from the bad guys was always comedic and welcomed for any style of plat-former. I have too said that additions are not needed since you can replay the mini games. I will have to give this game a solid 4 mojos' out of 5.
