PSP Minis: Fortix Preview

In the original arcade game Qix, the objective was to seal off a larger and larger pat of the screen to fence in enemies and eventually defeat them. This has been the premise of a number of follow up arcade games, and the latest entry in the genre is Fortix.

This new game by Nemesys Team Studio will be available for both the PSP Minis service and on the PC. In the gameplay video below, you can see that the standard formula has been updated enough to provide a deeper, yet still addictive arcade experience. We like the idea of taking old retro gameplay ideas and updating them. Hopefully the trend will continue until the PSP is host to a plethora of high-quality modern remakes.
