The first PSP game to support custom soundtracks will ship in Europe alongside the PSP next week.

Codemasters announced today that TOCA Race Driver 2 will feature an option that lets users replace the normal game soundtrack with music stored on a Memory Stick. Use of the feature requires a utility download, and then a re-rip of the music you want before you transfer the songs over to the PSP. A North American release has yet to be announced.
