Pokemon Black/White on Sale for $25

Here's a great deal for fans of Pokemon: the most recent game is on sale today only for $25 at Amazon. This is 30% off the normal price of the game, but fans shouldn't wait as the deal will end at midnight on Saturday April 2nd. Pokemon Black/White for the Nintendo DS has proven to be one of the best-selling games ever for that system. And it should be no surprise, since gamers everywhere are saying that Black/White is the best installment in the Pokemon series to come along in a very long time. We're not embarrassed to say that Black/White has rekindled our childhood love of all things Pokemon and given the franchise a much-needed modern face-lift.

Pokemon Black and White both follow the journey of a young Pokémon trainer through the region of Unova, Which is modeled after New York City. Players must train Pokémon and use them to compete against other trainers, while trying to prevent the evil plot of the criminal Team Plasma. This new game introduces 150 never-before-seen Pokémon to the franchise including the legendary Pokémon Reshiram and the Deep Black Pokémon Zekrom. The developers have included many new features, including a seasonal cycle, fully animated Pokémon sprites and three-way battles. The two Black and White titles feature mostly the same plot and can be played independently. However as fans know, trading Pokémon between both of the games is necessary in order to complete the games' lengthy Pokédexes.

If all of that sounds like a lot to deal with, it is. We estimate that these games each provide around 20 hours of gameplay at a minimum, with more available for the truly Pokemon-obsessed. That's not bad for a handheld game that costs only $25. Helpfully there is a good strategy guide to help you unlock all of the secrets of the Pokemon world.
