Persona PSP Gameplay Videos

Persona is one of the most beloved Japanese RPG franchises, having seen releases on both the PS One and PS2. Now, Atlus USA has announced a PSP version of the first game, due out in Japan on April 30, 2009. Today, we managed to snag some gameplay footage from the new PSP version, and it is clear from these videos that the new handheld title will be more than a mere port. The isometric battlefield art, as well as the character designs, appear to have undergone an upgrade.

We will have more on these improvements, as well as any news of a Western release as soon as we know more.
