New Mytran Wars Trailer Kicks Serious Butt

We admit that we were a little bit skeptical when we first learned of Hungarian developer Stormregion's new PSP game Mytran Wars. The title snuck up on us with very little hype, so when news of its impending release broke last month we were caught by surprise. From the looks of things, however, we didn't need to worry. Mytran Wars appears to be shaping up nicely, with a full-fledged strategy game that offers lots of complexity and depth. We are also digging the kitschy comic-book vibe we are getting from the storyline. Originally Mytran Wars was set to release in November, but the title has been pushed back to an unspecified release date in 2009.

Hopefully the extra time will allow Stormreagion to work out any last-minute kinks, and ensure that its PSP debut is every bit the quality game that they would like it to be. Turn-based strategy fans will definitely want to check out the brand new trailer below.
