New Metal Gear Solid For PSP

In an interview in the latest issue of Famitsu, developer Hideo Kojima confirms the development of what he refers to as "a completely new Metal Gear Solid" for the PSP.

Kojima is, expectedly, shy with details on this new game, even joking that he wasn't supposed to have announced it to be a 'Solid' title. Of the game, he says 'it's something that can only be done on the PSP,' joking that because it's so completely new, he's not sure if it will end up being released. He states, again jokingly, that his team will produce an alpha version of the title and let the interviewer sample it."
