More than half a million gamers have purchased Q Entertainment's Lumines. According to the developer's creative leader, Tetsuya Mizuguchi, the PSP puzzle game has topped the 550,000 shipped mark in worldwide sales.
"Mizuguchi provides a breakdown for the game's shipments region by region. In Japan, Lumines shipped just 70,000 copies, but managed to fare better in America, with 300,000 units shipped. Europe has had 180,000 copies of the game pass into retail, despite having been available for only three weeks."
