Lord of the Rings: Tactics

In Lord of the Rings: Tactics, the LOTR franchise makes a first time appearance on the PlayStation Portable in the form of a strategy game. Players engage in a series of turn-based battles on a grid map as they play the side of the Fellowship or that of Sauron’s baddies. 12 heroes and villains are available during the course of a campaign and can be customized with special abilities and items following each engagement. The battles take place in locations from all three of the LOTR films as well as the books by J.R.R. Tolkien. Multiplayer options allow four person combat, with players being capable of playing good and evil on the same side in a special Wi-Fi mode.
