Hoard: New Downloadable PSP Game

Dragons get somewhat of a bad rap in fairy tales. Easy to piss off, difficult to reason with, and prone to roasting brave knights with fiery breath, these beasts make an easy target for uncreative fantasy writers. But what if the dragons were actually the protagonists in the tale? Hoard, an upcoming PSP and PS3 game will make this dream a reality, as players take control of winged and fire-breathing dragons in an attempt to wreak havoc on progressively more challenging medieval landscapes.

Hoard gives players the chance to amass giant piles of gold by raiding medieval castles, roasting knights with the aforementioned flaming breath, kidnapping princesses, scaring towns, and defeating powerful wizards. The game features upgradeable dragons, intuitive controls, fast-paced action, and dozens of different kingdoms to conquer.

"Dragons are often portrayed as villains in literature, but we believe they are truly the heroes!" says Tyler Sigman, Big Sandwich Games' Design Director. "This game allows you to pursue a dragon's glory by fighting impetuous knights, cruel sorcerers, pesky archers, terrifying giants, and of course--other dragons. The ultimate goal is to have the largest and most comfortable pile of glittering treasure."

Local and online multiplayer play are supported for the PlayStation 3 version, as are leaderboards and other PlayStation Network community features. Look for Hoard when it releases on PSN for both platforms later this fall.
