Ghost Recon Predator PSP Preview

Ghost Recon Predator is an exclusive new tactical action game, headed to the PSP this November. It features a modern-day storyline, putting players in the role of an elite special forces team on the hunt for terrorists in the jungles of Sri Lanka. As we get closer to the game's (as yet unspecified) release date, more and more details are beginning to trickle out about this ambitious title.

Deep in the jungles of Sri Lanka, the Ghosts have 72 hours to pave the way for U.S. invasion forces. During an open conflict with Pakistan has Ghosts found evidence that they have gone after the wrong enemy. And now they must act before false information risks plunging America into a completely unpredictable and devastating war.

Ghost Recon: Predator is ambitious because it packs a lot of gameplay conventions from recent console games into the handheld experience. Some of the features we're most excited about include character swapping, third-person cover and of course tons of customizable weapons and high tech gadgets, such as the RC drone. Developers at Ubisoft say that their goal was to really make the player feel like an elite soldier surrounded by highly-trained teammates.

Ubisoft says that we can expect a local multiplayer co-op experience with up to three players.
