Need For Speed Most Wanted: "Electronic Arts' latest entry in the NFS franchise and the follow-up to the PSP launch game NFS Rivals is looking like a smart next entry in the series on Sony's portable system. Most Wanted is based on the forthcoming console game of the same name, but it offers a host of unique features that make it its own unique animal. We had the chance to try a work-in-progress version of the game today and were impressed by the assorted improvements we saw over the original game."

Burnout Legends: "In our most recent hands-on session with the game, it was hard not to be bowled over by just how good Burnout Legends is looking on the PSP. Sure, the Sony handheld is capable of some mean graphical feats, but the sense of speed, the quality of the car models in the game, and the solid frame rate in the game was very impressive to behold. Crashes still have that notable flair to them, with sparks flying and metal twisting in an impressive display that's very true to the series' roots."

X-Men Legends II: "Based on this early look, X-Men Legends II is promising to be a strong game for the PSP. The gameplay is solid, the visuals are very close to the level of quality seen in the console version, and the multiplayer support should give you the kind of experience you're hoping for. The only potential pitfalls we've seen — the frame rate and camera — are fixable given enough development time, which the game will hopefully get. Though the PSP library has been a little thin on must-have content, that will change once X-Men Legends II hits. The game is slated to ship this fall, so look for more in the coming weeks."
