Worms: Open Warfare 2 will hit store shelves across Europe on August 31st, but there's no need to wait until then to feel the full force of Wormfare on PSP!

THQ has released a downloadable demo of Worms: Open Warfare 2 for the Sony PSP. To download this free demo, consumers will need to worm their way over to the official website at www.WormsOpenWarfare2.com and follow the instructions provided.

Worms: Open Warfare 2 follows in the battle-strong footsteps of its much loved predecessor, Worms: Open Warfare, taking consumers to the next level with action-packed, online multi-player experiences and cheeky Worms mayhem. THQ's demo will give consumers a sneak preview of the Pirates level, unveiling all-new weapons including the electromagnet, as they take on either the fiendish A.I. or a friend in Hot-Seat mode.

The Worms: Open Warfare 2 video game will be available across Europe on Nintendo DS and Sony PSP from August 31st, both at a suggested retail price of £29.99.
