GameSpot has recieved confirmation from Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) that five of the PSP launch titles will feature online play via the console's built-in 802.11 wireless connectivity. The games to be online are: MLB, 989 Studios NBA, 989 Studios...
GameSpot has recieved confirmation from Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) that five of the PSP launch titles will feature online play via the console's built-in 802.11 wireless connectivity. The games to be online are:
- MLB, 989 Studios
- NBA, 989 Studios
- Gretzky NHL, 989 Studios
- ATV Offroad Fury: Blazin' Trails, SCEA
- Twisted Metal: Head On, SCEA
All five games will feature wireless multiplayer play in both a standard "ad hoc" and an online-enabled "infrastructure" mode. This is a first for gaming, making the PSP the first platform ever to have games playable online at launch.
