EA replacing Madden NFL 06 discs

EA has announced that it will replace Madden NFL 06 discs for the PSP if your game is affected by the Franchsie Mode bug.

"Per our earlier communication, we have been working on a long-term solution for the Franchise Mode bug in the PSP version of Madden NFL 06," EA said on its website. "While we know the workaround we provided earlier works, those still experiencing the issue can now get a replacement PSP disk for the one you currently own. The new disk has revised software that will solve the Franchise Mode issue."

To receive a replacement disk, which will take up to 10 business days to get, send your game (no packaging) to the following address:

Included in the package, include a note with the following information:

EA also appears to be trying to compensate disgruntled gamers with a couple of coupons. "In addition to the replacement disk, you will also receive two coupons for use at the EA Store, located at www.eastore.ea.com. One coupon will allow $15 dollars off any item listed at $15 dollars or more. The second coupon will allow for free standard shipping on any order placed at the EA Store. Both coupons are to be used separately and can not be combined with any other promotional offer. We appreciate your support and apologize for the inconvenience that this issue has caused."
