Saturday's edition of the San Jose Mercury News takes a look at Electronic Arts and the company's lineup of PSP launch titles. "In an extensive preview this week, EA showed off solid depth of content, in addition to the crisp visuals made possible by the PSP's power. That said, the most winning part of the presentation came from a shrewd sense of fun that EA is blending into all its PSP games. For example, in head-to-head competition with other PSP owners, using a wireless connection, the results will be recorded with a label that essentially designates players as champs or chumps. And that's going to make for irresistible trash talking... We knew the PSP was going to be cool. Judging from EA's contribution, there will be some very strong games to go with it, right from the outset."
