Codemasters announced today that its two new PSP racing titles — Colin McRae Rally 2005 Plus and TOCA Race Driver 2 — will be released on September 1, 2005 to coincide with the European launch of the PSP. "Colin McRae...

"Colin McRae Rally 2005 Plus brings the series' rally racing to Sony's portable with more than 30 rally cars racing through nine countries, wireless support for up to eight players, and the ability to save and send replays. McRae Rally 2005 was also designed with gaming on the go in mind, allowing players to play quick three-minute stages all the way up to full-blown, three-hour championships."

"TOCA Race Driver 2 lands on the PSP sporting up to 21 cars on the track in any given race, wireless support for up to 12 players, and once again the ability to send replays to other gamers. In addition, Codemasters is porting over all the cars, championships, and circuits from the PlayStation 2 version of the game, which means gamers will get a chance to try their hand at everything from open wheel circuits right down to street racing."
