PS Vita is all set to launch coming February 22, 2012. We are as excited as you are and here are some secrets which you might not know about this lil' monster of gaming.

* If you are worried about the charging time of Vita, which is about three to five hours of gameplay, then worry not. There will be a portable charger available with which you can charge a second battery while using the other one.

* The PS Vita has a sleep function like its older brothers, where you tap the power button and Vita goes to standby mode. You can also press the PS button anytime to suspend the game, just like your PS3. While in suspend mode you can access friends, photos, PS Store and other features.

* If you are interested in 3G/Wi-Fi model, the Vita will try to connect via Wi-Fi first, then connects to 3G.

* You can access PS Store and download content via 3G but for the initial few months you will have to use Wi-Fi for anything larger than 20MB.

* The Vita's web browser has support for cookies, JavaScript 1.7 and HTML5. Flash support isn't available for now but it might come in future firmware updates.

* You will need a special PS Vita memory card ( other memory cards including Memory Sticks won't work), to save some games and for DLCs.

* Vita doesn't have a UMD drive but you can redownload your purchased games via PS Store and play them on Vita.

* There also might be a way to transfer your old PSP save data to your new PS Vita. Sony said they are working on the issue.

* You can control the brightness of Vita's screen to anything you want unlike the older PSP where you only had a few presets.

There you go for now. Stay tuned for more updates about PS Vita and play some Uncharted 3 like us while you wait!
