Tilt FX Motion Control Accessory For PSP

tilt_sensor.png

Here's something cool for PSP owners who are tired of using the standard input to control the action in games. Accessory maker Datel has created a new device for the handheld that makes it possible to control existing and new titles via motion sensor. It's not something that gamers have been clamoring for, but it does add a new layer of fun to certain types of games. The Tilt FX PSP does pretty much what it advertises, allowing gamers to input 3 axis directional commands. That would be up and down, left and right, forward and back.

According to the manufacturer, Tilt FX works with nearly every game, but it is particularly suited for racing titles where you use the motion sensor like a steering wheel. You might also want to try it with platform classics, pinball and balance games, and of course, Loco Roco. The device works by replacing the normal direction pad and analog stick with high resolution 'tilt' control, using the 3D movements of your PSP to actually control the game

Datel has also included custom control profiles for many of the most popular titles like Wipeout, Loco Roco, F1,Need for Speed and many more. Just imagine 3D motion sensing control plus cool special effects like Super High Jumps, Low G effects and more. The Tilt FX 'G' sensor snaps into your PSP to provide seamless 3D game control so you can switch between control schemes easily.
