Sony has announced the Talkman, a new PSP accessory that enables users to interact with certain games with their voice. There's no word on availability outside of Japan.

"It would have been a bit difficult for them to rock an EyeToy for the PSP (though we know they did have a camera prototype), so instead Sony took a page out of Nintendo’s book with vocal game interaction and announced the Talkman for the PSP," reports Engadget. "Available in Japan in November for ¥5,800 (about $50), it should be able to translate to understand Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean--you know, the important languages."
