Sony recently unveiled a new, higher capacity battery for the PSP. The new battery is the same size as the original, but offers a capacity of 2200mAh compared to 1800mAh — offering a boost of up to 20% longer play time. The battery will be released in Japan for a cost of about $46. North American and European releases have yet to be announced.
