The first thing you’ll notice about the case is its xEVA and patent PVC outer. The patent PVC reminds us quite a bit of Nike’s Air Jordan XI, which is a good thing — the Jordan XIs are our favorite pair of basketball shoes, ever. The xEVA feels nice to the touch, and it creates a nice seal on the outside of the zipper. Although it isn’t mentioned anywhere in promotional materials or on SLAPPA’s site, we feel that the Daily Case would protect very well in foul weather.

The protection on the inside of the case is quite good. The compartment for the PSP is lined with a soft fabric, and the unit is secured in the case with a large elastic band. Above this is the back of the middle divider that also serves as a holder for two UMDs. On the other side of the UMD/divider is a fairly roomy mesh pocket, large enough to hold earphones, an extra battery, and whatever else you might need to stick back there.

Overall, the SLAPPA HardBody PSP Daily Case is not for everybody. The fact that the PSP isn’t playable when it’s protected in the case will be a deal-breaker for some. The inclusion of the D-ring carabiner attachment and the velcro belt clip on the back make it a really good option for those who don’t care to play their PSP inside the case. For those of you that fall into the latter group, you'll really dig this case.

The case is one of the most feature-packed that we've come across. It's very easy to see that a lot of time went into designing and manufacturing the case. The mixture of features, versatility and a very reasonable price (especially compared to other, lesser quality PSP cases) makes the SLAPPA HardBody PSP Daily Case a super easy recommendation.

Pros: Good protection for the PSP, room to carry accessories and extra games, carabiner and belt clip included.

Cons: PSP not playable in the case.
