PSP Go Tear-Down Photos

What happens when curious technology lovers get their hands on a brand new PSP Go? They tear it apart, of course! Chinese website Level Up has obtained photos of a detailed tear-down of the new PSP Go, showing all of the internal components in the device. We're not sure where the website was able to get its PSP Go, since the device normally doesn't go on sale until October. There were some interesting revelations made during the warranty-voiding exercise, so it was definitely worth it. Check out some of the more interesting shots below:

Sony has combined all of the major processor functions in one massive chip. This black beast contains the CPU, GPU, RAM, and Flash memory. This could be an anti-piracy measure or it could simply be a cost/space saving decision. Either way, it will make tampering with the internals that much more difficult for hackers.
