LG Optimus One is a Good Smartphone Alternative

If you are looking for a smartphone, but you don't want to go the Apple or the Blackberry route, LG might have the perfect mobile handset for you. This new Google Android v2.2 powered phone has a lot of cool features, making it a solid competitor in the rapidly crowding Android market. For starters, the handset sports a capacitive multi-touch screen, making navigation a snap. There's also a 3-megapixel camera, built-in GPS and FM radio, as well as the ability to record video at 640x480 resolution. Data can be stored on external microSD cards, up to 32 GB in capacity. A major advantage over the iPhone is that LG's handset supports almost all known video and audio codecs, including MP3 WMA, Xvid and Divx for media playback. As the goat herders in the humorous video below say, I need one of these things like, yesterday.

Another good thing is that the Optimus One is being rolled out all over the world, so customers from South America to Asia (including the Philippines) can get their hands on it soon.
