PSP Web Browser brings Contacts, Calendar, more to PSP

Apr 28, 2005 - 01:04 PM

PSP Web Browser.com recently launched, bringing PDA functionality to the PSP. Through the Wipeout Pure browser you can access several tools, including PSP Memo Pad, PSP Contacts, PSP Calendar, PSP Calculator, and more. Also offered through the portal site is MSN and AOL Instant Messaging and E-mail access. Instructions for setting the PSP up to access the service are also available. Registation for the site is free, although donations are being accepted.

jvoorhees: My current PDA is paper, pen and a small organizer book. It's more a PAA (Personal analog assistant) I think? Will give this PDA a try since I already have Wipeout Pure.

Bill: Sorry jvoorhees, I don't speak stupid...

jvoorhees: The PSP isn't going to replace a fully loaded PDA in the pockets of Fortune 500 execs, but it will easily replace a dumb terminal like you. I can now whip out the PSP to get my news, check stocks and daily schedule, IM a few people and order wifey's birthday gift just like the exec with my morning coffee. Heh.
