NYC Sony Store to hold midnight PSP launch event

Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced that it will team up with Carson Daly on March 23 to host a launch party for the midnight opening of the Sony Style Store in New York City (located at 550 Madison Avenue). Event lineup starts at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the 23rd. Doors will open at 9:00 p.m. and PSPs will go on sale at midnight on the 24th. Customers will "be treated to sneak peeks of new games, giveaways, surprise appearances and more." Sony will also be holding a PSP launch event at the Metreon PlayStation store in San Francisco.
